Abuta   for menstrual cramps and pre- and postnatal pain, excessive menstrual bleeding, and uterine hemorrhaging. Abuta is also believed to aid poor digestion, drowsiness after meals, and constipation.

*Aloe leaf Cape)  Aloe vera is recommended sometimes in the treatment of AIDS, diabetes, asthma, stomach ulcers, and general immune weakness.  Aloe, may stimulate immunity and inhibit the growth of viruses.  Aloe Vera is a powerful laxative and known to be one of the finest body cleansers, removing morbid matter from the stomach, liver, kidneys, spleen and bladder and is considered to be the finest colon cleanser known. It will not promote "gripe" (sharp pains and grumbling in the bowels) when used as a laxative, and it is also less likely to cause dehydration from such use.  Applied topically, Aloe Vera is known to rejuvenate wrinkled, sun-aged skin, and will stimulate cell regeneration. Application also promotes the healing of sores, insect bites, cuts and burns, and is an effective treatment against psoriasis and eczema. Aloe contains enzymes that relieve pain, and as a mild anesthetic, it relieves itching and swelling. Its topical application will help burns from scarring. Aloe Vera is an astringent and emollient; it is antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial.

*Angelica Root   Angelica is a good remedy for colds, coughs, pleurisy, wind, colic, rheumatism and diseases of the urinary organs, though it should not be given to patients who have a tendency towards diabetes, as it causes an increase of sugar in the urine.  It is generally used as a stimulating expectorant, combined with other expectorants the action of which is facilitated, and to a large extent diffused, through the whole of the pulmonary region. Angelica stems are also grateful to a feeble stomach, and will relieve flatulence promptly when chewed. An infusion of Angelica leaves is a very healthful, strengthening tonic and aromatic stimulant, the beneficial effect of which is felt after a few days' use.

Arnica Flowers, Whole  Derived from the flowers.The raw herb and the homeopathic arnica have been used for bruising injuries.  has slight antimicrobial activities. Clinical trials have indicated that arnica montana fresh plant gel, when used topically, can reduce symptoms of osteoarthritis. Post-operative antibacterial, muscle pain following exercise, bruising, pain and bleeding following dental procedure.
Arnica/Helichrysum Balm 
Arrowroot   superior carbohydrate with demulcent properties that will soothe irritated mucous membranes and can aid in the relief of the temporary discomforts of colic and indigestion. It is a rich source of digestible calcium, particularly nourishing to children after weaning and delicate persons during convalescence. Although Bilberry is used for the treatment of poor night vision and day blindness, cataracts, and macular regeneration, it can also be used to treat urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and diarrhea. There is some evidence that Bilberry can also be helpful for varicose veins. Black Cherry Black Cherry juice has been used historically to help reduce the build up of uric acid crystals in joints.  Black Cherry Juice greatly relieves the pain of gout, bursitis and arthritis.
*Black Cohosh Root, Clinical results show improvement in hot flashes, sweating, headache, vertigo, heart palpitations, tinnitus (a ringing or similar sensation in the ears), nervousness, irritability, sleep disturbance, anxiety, vaginal dryness, and depression. In a 1995 German trial, it was found that when combined with St. John’s Wort, Black Cohosh was 78 percent effective in treating hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms. As a treatment for menopause, medical studies reported Black Cohosh to be more effective than estrogen in relieving symptoms and in normalizing the appearance of vaginal cells under microscopic evaluation.
 Black Cumin Black Cumin is excellent for use in external healing for skin care such as psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, joints and scalp massage. Internally, it can be used to treat asthma, arthritis, and it boosts the immune system. Scientific studies have shown that Black Seed oil helps reduce inflammation and eliminates fungi infections. The extract form has shown to be effective in regulating blood sugar levels, and stimulating bone marrow and immune cells.

*Bloodroot Root  Diarrhea, relaxed bowels, sore or relaxed or ulcerated throat, sores, ulcers, leucorrhea, cuts, wounds, jaundice, piles, ague, smallpox, whooping cough, cholera, dysentery, prolapsus uteri, prolapsus ani, excessive menstrual flow, atonic intestines, hemorrhoids (protruding or internal), gleet, gonorrhea, prostatic enlargement, hernia, tonsillitis, laryngitis, relaxed and elongated uvula, internal hemorrhages, nosebleed, inflamed eyes.
*Blue Cohosh Root,  The herb stimulates uterine contractions and induces and promotes the onset of labor when delivery is due or in cases of delayed labor. It also helps in cases of prolonged labor by relaxing the uterus and increasing cervical dilation for easier delivery, less pain, and exhaustion and, thus, has earned the nickname, "A Woman's Best Friend." In contrast, Blue Cohosh will also stop false labor pains. As an effective diuretic it increases the flow of urine and will help eliminate excess water in the system.
Blue Flag  mainly used to detoxify the body. This flower increases urination and bile production and acts as a mild laxative. Due to its cleansing properties, this herb works well in treating acne and eczema, especially when associated with gallbladder problems or constipation. Blue Flag has been used for biliousness and in digestion and in small doses it relieves nausea and vomiting. Some have used this plant as a weight loss aid. In folk medicine Blue Flag is used as a treatment for skin diseases, rheumatism, and syphilis.

Blue Vervain  flower relieve respiratory and liver congestion, lower fevers, ease coughs and colds, cleanse toxins, calm the nerves, and act as a general tonic that produces an overall feeling of well-being.

Boneset herb used to promote sweating which reduces fever and is used in treating flu with aches and pains. This herb is an expectorant and can break up chest congestion. It is also used to stimulate appetite and reduce indigestion. This herb also stimulates the immune system which helps prevent viral and bacterial infections. Boneset has also been used for rheumatism, skin conditions, and intestinal worms.

Buckthorn effectively causes rapid evacuation of the bowels. The tannins in Buckthorn Bark are believed to have astringent properties and have been used to treat hemorrhoids. Buckthorn Bark is believed to stimulate the liver and gallbladder. The herb is said to be beneficial for treating liver disorders, such as jaundice, hepatitis, cirrhosis, etc. It is also thought to help a sluggish gallbladder by increasing the flow of bile and has been said to help the body rid itself of gallstones.

Bugleweed  The medicinal qualities of Bugleweed are in the leaves and flowers. This plant has diuretic, peripheral vasoconstrictor, astringent, nervine, and anti-tussive properties. Today, Bugleweed is used for treating mild hyperthyroidism (i.e. Grave’s disease) symptoms such as rapid pulse, weight loss, sensitivity to heat, excessive sweating, fatigue, enlarged thyroid and bulging eyes.

  • Raises the Yang Qi in cases of Middle Jiao Deficiency
    For hemorrhoids, anal and uterine prolapse, and diarrhea.
Burdock Root.  Burdock purifies the blood and restores liver and gallbladder function and works well as a remedy for gout, rheumatism, and arthritis. It is used to eliminate kidney stones and gallstones, gravel, and it works in treating cystitis and water retention. It has also bee used in cases of toxic shock syndrome. This herb also stimulates the immune system and relieves gout symptoms. The leaves are bitter and help stimulate digestion and relieve flatulence. Burdock helps reduce a fever accompanied by infections, but works best when taken at the onset of symptoms. The seeds are used to treat sore throat, tonsillitis, colds, and coughs. Burdock has been used to lower blood pressure in diabetics, though there is no scientific evidence to support those claims. The root stimulates the uterus serving to help regulate periods and provide strength before and after childbirth.
Butcher's Broom  supportive therapy for hemorrhoids and venous insufficiency, a condition closely related to varicose veins, due to its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to constrict small veins. Butcher’s Broom has also been used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, circulatory disorders, edema, swollen ankles, Meniere’s disease, obesity, Raynaud’s disease, thrombophlebitis, and vertigo. It is also good for treating bladder and kidney problems.
