6 Really Amazing Essential Oils
An Essential Oil is a very concentrated liquid that has been extracted from a plant source.  There are hundreds of variations of essential oils. The liquid has  historically been used for its healing properties, both mentally and physically.  Many people believe that essential oils can help heal the body, calm the mind, and even cleanse the atmosphere inside of homes.
Virtually all varieties of essential oils have antibacterial, antiviral, or anti-fungal properties, so it makes sense that they have been used to treat illness for such a long time. Recently, scientists have been examining the physiological effects of things like essential oils in the laboratory.
Quite a few researchers have found that certain essential oils may be able to prevent or even treat cancer! Unlike chemotherapy, essential oils are natural and do not produce negative side effects when used correctly. Here are six well-known essential oils that have demonstrated anti-cancer properties.
Chamomile Essential Oil  is commonly used to help treat gastrointestinal issues, inflammation, and muscle spasms. Chamomile tea is a popular herbal drink, though chamomile essential oil can also be applied directly to the skin.

Let's take a look:
Chamomile essential oils effect on normal cells versus cancer cells. For the normal cells, it had a very small effect on their growth, but for cancer cells, it had a significant effect.
The chamomile essential oil caused cell death in the cancer cells; it and was able to inhibit cancer growth yet not destroy the surrounding healthy tissue.
Chamomile also contains a flavonoid called apigenin, which is thought to be the reason that it can help treat cancer.
A study published in the Journal Of Cancer Research found that apigenin has a positive effect on stopping the growth of both breast cancer and colorectal cancer cells.
Frankincense Essential Oil  can help treat arthritis, respiratory disease, and general inflammation. It is traditionally used in incense, and the oil can be applied directly to the skin or inhaled from a vaporizer.

Did you know... frankincense essential oil disrupts pancreatic cancer cells and even causes apoptosis, or programmed cell death.
frankincense essential oil lowers the viability of bladder cancer cells while not having a negative effect on the surrounding healthy cells.

Researchers at the University of Leicester found that frankincense essential oil is effective at killing ovarian cancer cells, likely due to the compound AKBA. AKBA seems to be able to target cancer cells, which is why frankincense essential oil can spare healthy cells while still killing cancer cells.
Oregano increases nutrient absorption, can act as an antibiotic, and helps to heal symptoms of leaky gut. Oregano is a very common spice used for cooking, but it also comes in an essential oil form that is used for healing.

Oregano essential oil  successfully inhibits the growth of cancer cells in both breast and colon tissues.

Another study, published in the Journal Of In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology, found that oregano oil limits cancer growth by reducing oxidative stress within the body.

Yet another study, published in the Journal Of Plant Foods For Human Nutrition, found that oregano oil has fantastic bio-protective qualities, including a potential ability to prevent cancer from growing.

One component of oregano is called carvacrol. It is thought that the carvacrol in oregano is what is responsible for causing cell death in cancer cells.
Thyme essential oil   can help treat arthritis, increase blood circulation, and improve immune system function. Thyme is a common dry spice used for cooking, though it can also be applied directly to the skin in the form of Essential Oil.
Thyme essential oil and its isolated components have a strong positive effect on liver and colon cancer cells.

Thyme essential oil is one of the most effective essential oils at healing prostate, breast, and lung cancers.

Thyme essential oil is effective at inhibiting the growth of head and neck cancers by regulating various cellular pathways. The researchers determined that the thyme oil extract is toxic to the cancer cells.
Rosemary Essential Oil  can help improve your memory, reduce indigestion, and stimulate hair growth. Rosemary is a common herb used for both cooking and herbal medicine.

Rosemary essential oil is effective at reducing the growth of colon cancer cells, likely due to a component called carnosol. They found that carnosol is able to trigger cell death in colon cancer cells.

Another study, published in the Molecules Journal, found that rosemary essential oil is considered toxic to cancer cells. Rosemary is rich in antioxidants, such as rosmarinic acid and caffeic acid.

Antioxidants work to prevent cell damage done by free radicals, and therefore play an important role in preventing diseases, including cancer.

A study published in the Indian Journal Of Experimental Biology found that rosmarinic acid has strong anti-tumor properties and may be able to prevent skin cancer.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil  can help reduce fatigue, treat respiratory problems such as asthma, and regulate blood sugar. Eucalyptus is frequently used in cosmetic products, but is used topically for medicinal properties as well, eucalyptus essential oil is toxic to cancer cells and therefore has significant anti-tumor properties.

The researchers believe that Eucalyptus essential oil triggers apoptosis, or cell death, in the cancer cells.

Another study, published in the Journal Of Cancer Letters, tested the effects of Eucalyptus leaf extracts on mice.  They found that extracts stopped the growth of skin cancer cells.

So…while building a foundation with skin-loving ingredients known for their anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal properties (sesame oil)…and, working to incorporate minerals that do the same (zinc oxide + calcium carbonate)…then, merging them all with essential oils proven to provide hormonal balance for women…We know we're on to something incredible.

Not to mention, what a wonderful place to apply this creation for maximum absorption + benefit…right over the lymph nodes under our arms and near our breasts!

Shea Butter gives Pain Relief

When massaged into aching joints and inflamed areas, Shea butter provides relief. This makes the butter highly useful to people suffering from arthritic and rheumatic pain.
Mix in Essential oils such as: Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Helichrysum
No Mo PainOrtho-Flex Extra, or Pain - Anti-inflammatory into the Shea butter to make it more potent.

Muscle soreness resulting from exercise, sports practice, or other strenuous activity may be relieved by massaging in Shea butter. Triterpenes in the butter may even accelerate healing by relieving inflammation. Applying Shea butter both before and after exercise has been found to provide faster pain relief
Castor Oil Relieves Muscle Soreness
Castor oil is considered a warm oil that promotes the circulation of fluids in the body. It is excellent as massage oil, and can relieve the soreness resulting from overworking the muscles. If you have aching calf and thigh muscles after vigorous exercise or active sports practice, apply a little castor oil on the sore area and rub it in.

Time Tested Home Remedies that Can Clear a Stuffy Nose and Keep your Sinuses Clear so that You Can Breathe With Ease
Cold and respiratory allergies are the common causes of a blocked nose because they irritate the nasal lining and cause inflammation and swelling of the nasal passage and the sinuses. Sinus infections and exposure to certain chemicals or sever cold may suddenly bring on nasal congestion.

You might try to blow your nose harder thinking mucus is behind the blockage, but that doesn't usually help.  In fact, it may worsen the inflammation.  Over the counter nasal decongestants may give instant relief, but they may cause more damage in the long run.
Make your own Saline Spray/Drops
Dissolve 2 teaspoons of pure sea salt in;
1/2 cup boiled water (while it is still hot dissolve the salt, let it cool)
pour it in a squirt bottle.
Alternatively, you can use a dropper or the tip of your little finger to put a drop of saline into each nostril.
The Salt solution dilutes the mucus to remove congestion. It definitely moisturizes the nasal cavity and lightens the thickened mucus, but its main action is shrinking the swollen tissues by drawing out water.  We see the same thing happening when you keep swollen feet in a bowel of salt water.
An advantage with saline is that it does not cause rebound congestion since it has no action on mucus production.
You can repeat the treatment until the inflammation subsides and you can breathe easy.
Inhaling steam quickly relieves a stuffy nose, especially when the sinuses are infected and congested. Steam opens them up and you get fast drainage.
The simplest way to inhale steam is by holding you head over a steaming pot and taking deep breaths.
Mix in a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil and a few drops of peppermint essential oil. Instant relief!
Breathe Easy, Respiratory Sinus Relief, and Respiratory Rescue are excellent ones for helping you breathe easier.
Sinus Congestion can be relieved by applying warm compresses to the forehead, nose, and upper cheek. Wring out a hot towel in hot water and place it over these areas, make sure there is close skin contact. the warmth will trigger sinus flow and reduce congestion.
Adding salt to the hot water has been found to have an added effect.  For a salt solution to be effective, it should have a high concentration.  It is actually the hypertonicity of the saline that clears the congestion.
Drinking hot tea is another way to get rid of nasal congestion. As you sip the hot tea, the rising steam gets into the nostrils. The flavonoids in tea are powerful anti-inflammatory agents. They are the most abundant in green tea. adding crushed black pepper and honey increases the effect.
Chicken soup helps relieve uncomfortable symptoms of a cold. Organic chicken is highly nutritious and by adding potent herbs and spices helps increase your bodies natural defenses against disease-causing microbes.
So add; onions, ginger, and pepper.  Also you could try thyme, pepper, and cloves. These spices contain bioactive compounds that reduce sinus inflammation.  And lets not forget Turmeric!
Peppermint tea can help relieve nasal congestion. Adding a spoonful of honey and lemon gives it mucolytic property!
Warm just a little coconut oil in a spoon and rub it on both sides of the nose. Leave it on for a few minutes, and your nose congestion will ease. Who knew? Just one more thing to add to the list of: what coconut oil is good for!
Rubbing Healthy Spice essential oil Blend, or Oregano essential oil on the bottom of your feet then put on some socks and let the magic happen.
