Who
better than you, to help empower, cleanse, enhance, protect and
build your family's health with Essential
Oils.
|
You are the
one that knows your family best, their unique
needs and emotional stresses. So who better?
|
|
Only pure,
organic, all-natural, extraordinary
therapeutic-grade essential oils. Bottled as
single oils and/or combined into lovely scented
blends. All to bless you with your health.
|
When a health
concern arises you can deal with it in a way
that is effective and safe. You can handle a
whole range of health issues right at home.
The secret of essential oils' effectiveness lies
in the speed at which they are absorbed through
your skin. They can reach the blood stream in 20
minutes to half an hour maximum.
|
Here's just a sample of the kind of issues we
are talking about. . .
- Colds and
flu (some ideas) - Spice Oils are strong antiviral
and antibacterial and have the ability
to boost the immune system. Also tree
essential oils work well for respiratory
infections such as the common cold,
influenza and pneumonia.
- Aches and
pains you might think about . . .
spice oils improve
circulation, as a circulatory
stimulant they reduce bruising. They detoxify
muscle tissues, and are antispasmodic
and pain relieving. The herb Essential
Oil Peppermint
is cooling and reduces pain. An
excellent blend for this is No-Mo-Pain.
- Allergies
- you might consider Respiratory
Sinus Relief already blended for your
convenience. Or Tansy
would be beneficial for allergies.
- Skin
irritations and conditions - tree
oils are
high in antifungal, antiseptic,
antiviral constituents so are ideal for
fungal, viral and infection related
conditions. Like athlete’s foot,
candida, ringworm, etc. Spice oils
detoxify. Citrus oils are good for skin
conditions such as eczema, psoriasis,
dermatitis, etc. and blend well with
tree oils for these conditions.
- Digestive
upsets and nausea - Spice oils are a digestive
stimulant, they aid in indigestion,
nausea and constipation. Citrus oils have a cleansing
effect on the digestive system and its
organs.
- Bug bites
and bee stings - Grass oils are insect repellents. Cleansing
essential oil blend is an excellent one
for bug bites and stings. Or this Bee
Sting Blend - 2 drops lavender
1 drop German
chamomile 1 drop wintergreen.
- Burns,
sunburns, and scrapes - we all know
Lavender
is top of this list. A mix of water, aloe
vera, and trace mineral complex combined
with lavender.
When sprayed on a burn, this mist does an
excellent job providing relief and promoting
the healing of burns. Vinegar will take out
the burn.
- Minor cuts
and slivers - One blend that might
be used with a compress is 5 drops geranium,
5 drops
lemon, and 5 drops German
chamomile. Other single oils that can
be used to help slow bleeding are helichrysum,
lavender,
and myrrh.
Cypress
can be very effective to control bleeding. Cypress is
known to strengthen the circulatory system,
particularly through the buildup of
capillary walls. Or I might make a
disinfecting spray: 5 drops lavender
oil, 3 drops
tea tree, 2
drops cypress
oil.
Mix these oils together with ½ teaspoon
salt. Combine this with 8 ounces of
distilled water and shake vigorously. Apply
with spray bottle to minor cuts and
wounds prior to covering with bandage.
Repeat 2-3 times daily for 3 days. A drop or
two of tea
tree oil on the
wound daily for a few days may also be
helpful. One other oil I might
incorporate in the disinfecting process is thyme.
- Dizziness
and headaches - No-Mo-Pain
is my favorite blend for this or applying peppermint
oil . . . wonderful.
- Stress and
anxiety - maybe using Herb essential
oils - because they work on the mind and induce
deep relaxation. Uplifting and
stimulating. They are excellent for
stress related to mental and emotional
trauma. Also Flower essential oils work on the
spirit and are relaxing, soothing and
tranquillizing. Ideal for stress.
- Oral
hygiene - Tea
Tree is an excellent choice - just one
drop on your tooth brush and your regular
paste. If you can handle it X-Plague
is a great blend. Citrus oils are also
really good for oral hygiene.
- Household
cleaning - here are some recipes
for cleaning I use all the time
> > >
- Air
freshening and purification
|
Green Cleaning
with Essential Oils:
Combs and brushes: Fill a container with
1½ cups water, ½ cup distilled white vinegar,
and 20 drops tea-tree,
lavender,
or eucalyptus
oil. Soak combs and brushes for 20 minutes.
Rinse and air-dry.
Scuffed floors: Apply two to
four drops of tea-tree
oil to the spots. Wipe excess oil with a cloth
and rub in distilled white vinegar.
Gum-encrusted items: Orange
oil is great at removing this sticky offender
from various materials. (Don’t worry: It
shouldn’t stain fabrics. But do launder
immediately.) Apply with a cotton ball.
Shower doors: Wipe scum-covered
glass doors with a few drops of lemon
oil twice a month. It will protect them from
grime buildup.
Toilets: Add 2 teaspoons tea-tree
oil and 2 cups water to a spray bottle. Shake,
then spritz along the toilet’s inside rim. Let
sit for 30 minutes; scrub. You can also place
a few drops of your favorite oil on the inside
of the toilet-paper tube. Every time the paper
is used, the scent will be released.
Windows: Mix 2 ounces water and
10 drops lavender
or lemongrass
oil to wipe grime off windows. Bonus: These
oils may repel flies.

studying for a college exam. She opened a bottle
of peppermint
essential oil and smelled that lovely sent as
she studied. A few days later, when taking the
exam, she tucked a cotton ball with peppermint
oil, in her sleeve, before entering the testing
center. She could smell it while taking her
test. It really helped her recall her studies
and do well on her exam! You can also use Lavender
to calm your nerves while studying and the peppermint
to keep awake and have great recall.

Every year, close
to 100,000 drug-induced hospital-stays take
place across the United States among those 65 or
older. Recent research that took place at the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in
Atlanta found that there were four main types of
drugs that had caused two-thirds of those
medication-related hospitalizations.
The researchers found that the top culprits are
among the most commonly taken medications. They
include warfarin, which is a blood thinner,
insulin, aspirin and other anti-platelet drugs,
and oral diabetes medications. The drugs one
might guess would be the worst offenders, such
as highly addictive narcotics, were only
responsible for approximately one percent of the
hospitalizations analyzed. Maybe the more
standard types of medications lead to problems
because they are taken so often that their users
feel comfortable with them and stop being
careful after a while. But clearly they can all
be extremely dangerous.
Statins increase the risk of diabetes for
postmenopausal women by 48 percent! Statins
appear to provoke diabetes through a few
different mechanisms, the primary one being by
increasing your insulin levels, which can be
extremely harmful to your health. Chronically
elevated insulin levels cause inflammation in
your body, we have talked about how high
levels of glucose in the blood stream is like
tiny shards of glass and can be the cause of
chronic disease. In fact, elevated insulin
levels lead to heart disease, which,
ironically, is the primary reason for taking a
statin drug in the first place!
You need to also consider the sensory nerve
damage caused by statins -Sensory nerve damage
causes a more complex range of symptoms
because sensory nerves have a wider, more
highly specialized range of functions. Larger
sensory fibers enclosed in myelin (a fatty
protein that coats and insulates many nerves)
register vibration, light touch, and position
sense. Damage to large sensory fibers lessens
the ability to feel vibrations and touch,
resulting in a general sense of numbness,
especially in the hands and feet. People may
feel as if they are wearing gloves and
stockings even when they are not. Many
patients cannot recognize by touch alone the
shapes of small objects or distinguish between
different shapes. This damage to sensory
fibers may contribute to the loss of reflexes
(as can motor nerve damage). Loss of position
sense often makes people unable to coordinate
complex movements like walking or fastening
buttons, or to maintain their balance when
their eyes are shut.
Neuropathic pain is difficult to control and
can seriously affect emotional well-being and
overall quality of life. Neuropathic pain is
often worse at night, seriously disrupting
sleep and adding to the emotional burden of
sensory nerve damage.
If you take statin drugs you should consider
taking CoQ10.
A more natural way to control cholesterol
might be by using oat bran or oat bran plus.
Eating more vegetables, olive oil, coconut
oil, organic raw dairy products and eggs,
avocados, raw nuts and seeds, and organic
grass-fed meats all of which are good belly
diminishing foods!
And lets not forget exercising!
