My
body is constantly getting healthy. It just doesn't
seem like it because the abuse of my addictions outpace
my restoration I find medicine is the best of all trades because whether you do any good or not you still get your money. INFECTIONS: A CRUCIAL LINK!
It's possible that ice cream is the leading cause of sinus infections. Here's our theory: Within 24 hours of consuming a scoop of ice cream from brands that contain artificial flavors, like Baskin Robbins, Wendy's, Dairy Queen, etc., flu-like symptoms will manifest: fever, headache, congestion, general malaise. The supposed virus disappears within 24 hours and a raging sinus infection develops in its place. You won't ever have a runny nose, (which you would have with a true virus or allergy), you'll just have two intensely clogged & infected sinus passages with extreme sinus pressure. We started asking friends who came down with sinus infections if they had eaten ice cream 2 days prior to the onset of the sinus infection. 4 out of 5 cases reported a yes. We took our theory to the web and started asking our readers about 4 years ago now. Sure enough, the same report came back time and time again: fake flu within 24 hours and a sinus infection within 48 hours. If take your kids to get ice cream on the weekend, this theory should be pretty easy to track since the side effects will take place Monday or Tuesday following. WHAT INGREDIENT(S) IS CAUSING
THESE SIDE EFFECTS? ALLERGY & PAINKILLER MEDS If you are prone to getting sinus infections from allergies, be careful of the over-the-counter painkillers and allergy medications. This list can include pain relievers with Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen and all allergy medications. We have discovered that they can stress the liver unduly, creating more mucous in the body as the liver fights to detox from the medications. So instead of helping with sinus conditions, these sinus prescriptions actually exacerbate them! One
sign
of a stressed liver is that your mucous will get
thicker and more yellow in color. A test you can do
to monitor whether your body is having a hard time
processing an allergy medication or pain reliever is
to note the color of your mucous before you take the
medication and then after. (Note: you can only do
this if you aren't already on a pain reliever or
allergy medication.) #1. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is our #1 favorite remedy for stopping sinus infections. We wish more people knew about this amazing home remedy for sinus infections. The idea is to take apple cider vinegar before the sinus infection occurs, which for most people is at the start of allergies, colds, flu, etc. We have found that when apple cider vinegar is taken either as a daily tonic or at the first sign of an allergy or cold (i.e., sinus headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes), one can completely stop the histamine response or allergic reaction. If you happen to have one of the brands of ice cream mentioned above, you should also take a large dose of apple cider vinegar the moment you get home. You will NOT get a sinus infection if you drink apple cider vinegar right away! There are a couple ways you can drink apple cider vinegar. One way is to put 1/8 to 1/4 cup ACV (plus an equal amount of honey) in 16 oz of water and sip it throughout the day. The other method is to gulp the mixture at once. If you already have a sinus infection, keep drinking a mixture of ACV and water throughout the day for several days. Please remember -- the key to success is to use apple cider vinegar before a sinus infection appears (i.e. during the first stages of a flu or allergy attack, or after you've eaten a bowl of ice cream). Question: Why does ACV
alleviate sinus congestion so quickly? READER
